We needed an alarm to get up in time and now are off into town on rush hour clogged roads at 7am local time. We're staying in the country not far from the Pope's summer residence so it's a commute. There is also a commuter train service available.
For the afternoon we plan to visit the Pantheon and otherwise hang around old Rome.
This morning I tied the score with Gluttony by holding off on the chocolate cake, chocolate croissants and other assorted delicacies. Just a poached egg with non-fat yogurt and berries for me-and two cappuccinos. Why is the coffee so much better here?
