We're here and navigating the subway. E4.20 for two to get on and then a short walk. There was a station even closer to the hotel (their website says only one minute) but it involved at least one more transfer.
...And we're here! I'm dripping sweat in a serious way but we made it fine and it is lovely! Plus coming in by subway helps to get used to where we are.
The only issue is that is isn't air conditioned. For that we'd need to switch to a suite. But it is shaded and has a cool breeze and they will bring up a fan.
There is a free computer but I'm not sure I can put photos on it to upload-we shall see.
And before pressing send they dropped off a plate of delicacies (including herring from Finland) and fresh juices from the kitchen as well as fresh fruit. The toiletries provided are from Etro. Looking good!
Tomorrow is supposed to go down to 27 from the 37 that it is right now! Next week will be back to the low to mid-20's but we will be home by then.
The hotel's German keyboard layout (it isn't "qwerty") is hard to get used to!
