We've ordered the surprise menu, meaning the chef decides what is coming and we have no input at all. (I did suggest we probably wouldn't like the calf's head that is on the menu.)
They started us off with a pink champagne which is magnificent and now we will get very small glasses of a different wine for each of the five courses. This should be memorable, however it turns out.
The staff also thought we were newlyweds here on our honeymoon. Not sure how that happened but it was amusing.
