R&R


We're just hanging around Villa Ugo this morning after a lovely outdoor breakfast (see the first photo). We're doing laundry and I've added some photos to the blog post for yesterday's post regarding Siena. We have a cooking class at il Falconiere this afternoon followed by dinner there. Villa Ugo is just outside Cortona in Tecognano.

Last night we had a lovely dinner up high in Cennina inside a restored castle. It threatened rain but it held off (see the second photo). Today is another scorcher.

    Don't feel too bad about the Tuscan heat. It was 45 degrees here at home yesterday with the humidex, and may be slightly hotter today! I was going to prescribe gelato for all, but then I saw Mark's news alert this morning re: waistline. At least Kim and I should enjoy, although hers will be more authentic and delicious. In any event, it's medicinal. :)
