We're sitting at the gate at Pearson waiting for our flight to Montreal where we will connect to our flight to Rome. The non-direct route actually gets us into Rome at 9am local time tomorrow, whereas the non-stop flight from here only gets in at noon. It seemed better to have the full day tomorrow.
As we checked in I asked if they had any upgrades to business, given the occasion and all. The check in lady was friendly but wasn't offering any free upgrades. I could try again in Montreal, but probably should accept defeat when staring me in the face.
(The photo is of Kim's delicious looking pre-flight snack (and basically a late lunch). I thought she was getting something for the two of us, but I'm now off to Jugo Juice.)
